As for the offense, I have guys that still need to grow into their ratings (Pritchett, Shun, Haynie come to mind), but it's not horrible, as I have 4 bats that constitute a legitimate middle of the order surrounded by some contact, some speed, and a little power. I think it's good enough to give my pitching enough support. They're going to have their struggles against lefties (although not as much thanks to Goering). I'm really counting on my pitching to do most of the work though.

I really liked that deal. When the oppurtunity presented itself, I had to jump at it, because I wanted to build my pitching staff through the draft, and I knew I needed at least one hitter for the future of my team.
