9-5 sim after trading the best pitcher this game has ever seen and the reigning AL MVP. I don't understand it.
BTW, Texas still has good veteran talent just waiting to be traded for.

No complaints here over the sim. A prospect developed and the big league team was good. I wish Presnell would hit though...
Woohoo for one sim in overreactions

Lee Miller would be on pace to pull a Robert Bowers.

7-7... can't complain, seeing as I didn't get my roster changes in on time. But that's okay. Belizario still got in on the action, and had 2 good starts.

The Nationals are disappointed with their sim. A 7-7 record, 3 games behind the Phillies and Pedro Azicri lost 1 talent in control and 2 talent in movement. Dropped from a 10-10-7 to 10-9-5. He didn't pitch very well either.
But in some good news, rookie catcher Lane Carter has not disappointed batting .262 with a .392 OBP, 2 homeruns and is on pace to walk 104 times. Also throwing out a third of runners attempting to steal. Barreras is also doing a fine job out of the 3 spot batting .294 with 4 homeruns and 9 RBI. In William Merkel's major league debut he held the Marlins to just 1 run on 4 hits over 6 innings. Gonzalo Rodriguez has been awesome allowing just 2 runs over 22 innings in 3 starts between the Phillies and Marlins.
My pitching staff currently ranks 2nd in ERA and first in runs allowed.

sammy rod pitching like an ace. alfonso cuevas hitting like an mvp. hitting in total is there, and the starters were capable, though muecke is gonna die any day now. even with a completely inconsistent pen, im happy with the opening sim. faria picked up his first career win too, and put us in a position to win every game he pitched in, thats real nice to see.

for a 6-7 sim. Juan Luevano and Mark Michael's hot starts have me semi-pleased, but the fact that I went 3-6 against the division doesn't help at all. Especially Danks getting dominated by Pittsburgh on opening day.
I actually kind of have a bullpen now...

So naturally, I sign some bum off free agency... and wala

Oh goddamnit. 5-9 with half of a lineup, and 4-11 with one. My team blows, hello high draft pick!
my pitching staff got smashed... but who exactly expected alfonso cuevas to keep doing what hes doing? i didnt. first in ba, obp, slg, ops, rc, rc/27, hits, rbis, xbh and tbs... top 10 in runs, walks, doubles, home runs.
juan is getting smashed a little bit here, but billy hunt has picked up his game, sammy rod was kinda scrubby this sim but he still kept us in positions to win... muecke is dead. if he gives me anything this year, its a great thing. there are just some moments you wish for luck... like how boston and baltimore somehow have deeper rotations than i do.
at least the hitting is still there.
Houston's pitching is absolutely horrid. Nearly every statistical category is down in the bottom of the league. If my pitching keeps this up, then my hitting will go down, too.
