OK... so which teams are looking to add veteran talent?

I figured this may be an easy way for teams to tell whether other teams are looking to fight for a W.S. now and add good ML talent and who would be willing to trade away some youthful spects to get it.

We know there have to be some teams looking to add a great SP or position player. Here is the place for you to spout off and tell everyone.

if i can get the guy im attempting to sign, ill actually possibly be in the business of trading an arm. im content with my talent level, and think i can use bill hunt to help out my farm a bit, and still make the world series with muecke/rodriguez/williams/pratt or free agent/guido. and if i gotta keep hunt around, that assuredly wont make me sad or anything. cant never have enough pitching.

I'd rather unload some of my veteran pieces (which aren't THAT old to begin with) for prospects if that were to come along, but I would not mind adding the right veteran arm or positional player (namely a CF replacement, or 2B). Of course I would not pay an arm and a leg cause I'm not looking for a Cy Young or MVP caliber player.

Depends on free agency. I am ready to go now into the season, but over the season, I'd love to grab a quality utility IF (good defense, 2.0 type of guy) and perhaps a bullpen improvement as needed.

The odds are that I am not going to add anything huge. Not enough decent catchers to be worth a trade.

I already added all of the veterans I need to add. I have two more free agents targeted, if I miss out on them, I may make one trade, and just fill the rest from within.

They're fantastic. But far too expensive for me. Logically, Galeana and/or Reyes would be part of a fair price for one of those two, and I'm not convinced the improvement would be great enough for it to be worth the effort of trading and their monetary cost.

You can always have the un-legendary Paul Mosely for a wooden nickel, Fishercat.

The improvement from Fountain to Huber is like going from Alpo to Filet Mignon

250 OPS points essentially, some defense, and 13 million dollars per year til 2007, and some major talent.

Love the guy, but too much.

I could use a decent spare arm or two.
