Sanders to the 15 day DL

Reggie Sanders was added to the 15 day DL today and is expected to be out 4-6 weeks with a hairline fracture in his right fibula. Sanders is going to replaced by John Rodriguez and is in the starting lineup tonight vs the Brewers. Rodriguez was hitting 17 HR/47 RBI/.342 for Triple A Memphis.

man, Rodriguez sounds like a stud. I wonder what he can do against big league pitching. Looks like there are a lot of injuries going around Cards camp.

Good thing is that Sanders will be back for the playoffs. Sanders is a valuable guy and has seen the playoffs a lot the past few seasons. Pujols and Sanders have been a good power duo this year.

The only bad thing about Rodriguez is that he's 27 years old. He'll probably platoon with Mabry and Taguchi, and you know that Walker wont be playing everyday

Oh, I thought he was some prospect that I never heard of. Well, he has shown he can hit AAA pitchers, so we'll see what he has against the big time.
