I agree, but Mo said this weekend at the Winter Warmup that they probably won't do anything before Spring Training.

Also... Chris Perez admitted this weekend that he has a bone spur in his foot that has been bothering him when he runs, but hasn't affected him when he pitches. Hopefully that will continue to be the case.

Chris Carpenter says he is healthy, and will be ready for Spring Training. I'm as optimistic as the next guy (more than most), but how many times have we heard that?

Kyle McClllan was apparently told to stretch out as a starter over the winter. So it looks like our rotation is looking like this.

    1) Chris Carpenter (If Healthy)
    2) Adam Wainwright
    3) Kyle Lohse
    4) Todd Wellemeyer
    5) Joel Piniero

If Wainwright can't make it through Spring Training, then our rotation looks like this.

    1) Adam Wainwright
    2) Kyle Lohse
    3) Todd Wellemeyer
    4) Joel Piniero
    5) Kyle McClellan

    Scary.... isn't it?

A team will have an infielder go down with an injury and the Cards will be right there waiting for a trade.

I hope not, because the Cards don't have any extra infielders, that's why Kennedy is penciled in as the starting Second Baseman, and why there have been rumors of Mather and Schumaker being considered for 2nd Base.

My bad Crazy. I meant OFer and not IFer. An OFer for some team will go down and the Cards will be there waiting.

Oh I gotcha. I wonder what you meant. Yeah, and trading an Outfielder makes perfect sense.
