Matt Clement released

It was just a matter of time before this happened. The Cardinals were hoping that Clement would regain his past glory, but it doesn't seem likely to ever happen. This is one signing that has fallen flat, but the cost wasn't that great. The last I heard, Clements fastball was topping out in the high 80's, and he doesn't have the movement that he once had. Someone will probably sign him if he has anything left or he just may fade away into the sunset one final time.
