The Cardinals are reportedly in talks about Bay, Fuentes, and Ohman. Obviously, the biggest need is a reliever. So any relievers would be a welcome as long as too much isn't given up. Offense isn't the biggest need, but another big bat would be nice. The Pirates want Rasmus for Bay, and that is a price that the Cardinals shouldn't pay.

The Cards GM mentioned during the game that nobody is an untouchable. He said that he would even listen to offers for Colby Rasmus. Then he went on to say that there is no way that Kyle Lohse will be traded. I think they should at least listen to offers for Lohse since he is a free agent after the season. No way should Colby Rasmus be traded, but that is the guy everybody is asking about, and for good reason.

I was surprised they've been talking to the Pirates about him. I don't really know why they would be focusing on an outfielder. Having said that, I won't cry if they trade for him. Unless they trade Rasmus.
