Cards In Second

The Cards beat down the Astros 7-0 and the Cubs beat the Brewers which means the Cards are in second place and trailing by 2 games. Duncan had a big game hitting a three run bomb for #21. He wound up going 3-5 with 4 RBI. Ankiel went 3-5 with a RBI and Pujols went 3-5 as well. Looper pitched great and this Cardinals staff is really coming around for the big stretch.

Yes they are, and they are playing well enough to get themselves back into the playoffs to at least try and defend their championship.

I think the Cards are going to win the Central but I'm not sure how far they will go in the playoffs.....They should do pretty good but I'm not sure if they will get back to the WS.

Just for the record, I picked the Cardinals to win this division in the preseason thread that was going around to pick the divisions and playoffs, etc.

I did though, pick my Brewers as the Wild Card though. Shows everyone how much I know, huh!! hahaha!
