Edmonds Open To Trade

Jim Edmonds said during an interview Sunday that he would be open to a trade if the Cardinals feel it is in the best interest of the organization.
"I'm just saying: If for whatever reason things change here and they want to move me, I'm not going to sit here and be stubborn about leaving," Edmonds said. "I'm an organizational guy. I'm here for the organization. I always have been. If they wanted to do something, I'd listen." Edmonds is under contract until the end of the 2008 season.

The Cards would love to move Edmonds either to another team or to RF. Edmonds' salary makes it very hard for them to move him. Edmonds might want to consider retirement.

If only his salary wasn't a problem, it'd be nice for Edmonds to return to Anaheim for old times sake.
