Edmonds, Encarnacion Start Season On DL

Talking to reporters Wednesday, Cardinals manager Tony La Russa said both Jim Edmonds and Juan Encarnacion would likely begin the season on the DL.
Edmonds, who is rehabbing from right shoulder and left foot surgeries, said he felt nowhere close to 100 percent after taking batting practice for the first time Tuesday. The Cardinals might have to go with So Taguchi in center field and Scott Spiezio in right at the beginning of the season. Preston Wilson would act as the fourth outfielder.

I like Spiezio's bat after last year as he came up with some big hits but do not like him in RF. I rather see JRod or Wilson in RF. Cards should still be fine as the projected rotation has a .88 ERA this spring so far.
