Pujols adds to his GW RBI total after last night's blast that beat the Pads.

Brewers OWN the Cards. Cards are done and will choke the division and Pujols will miss out on the MVP.

So Dirty is rooting for Howard. I guess both MVP candidates will be watching the playoffs from home Dirty?

    Sure seems like it.

At this point, neither the Cards nor the Phillies deserve to be in ... the Dodgers and Astros are just playing superior baseball.

So is Lance Berkman in MVP talks? He is having a great season that no one is talking about.

I agree here. The Dodgers and Astros have had an amazing second half. The Cardinals just did not seem like the Cardinals we know. The etched by this year and they better hope something better happens for them next year.

For as much fun the media made about the NL West last year and most of this year, Padres and Dodgers both might be the teams to beat. With the loss of Pedro and the Mets offense struggling a bit. And we all know what the Cards are doing, Padres or Dodgers have got to be the front runners for the NL pennant!!

Again, Bochy does NOT get enough credit for what a quality manager he really is. He has got to get more publicity and ranked with the ELITE managers in the MLB!

Good points Brewersfan. Even the Mets are not bringing what we would have hoped. Their pitching is abysmal without Pedro as you pointed out. Pads or Dodgers will be the heavy hitters in this years playoffs.

Perhaps another California WS? I will call the Dodgers and A's this year and rep for my homeland.

Then again, I would like to see what these Cards can do. Can they get their past behind them and play exceptional baseball for these playoffs? There is no reason to believe they cannot. Its going to be a real nice October thats for sure.
