Anthony Reyes pitched his ass off tonight. No hitter through 6 1/3 IP and kept the best baseball team in the league in check all night long. Hit 97 on the gun at one point and was just a bulldog all night. Made a mistake by pitching Thome inside one too many times, but im glad this kid in is the rotation. This should save his spot for a while.

He did a GREAT job tonight. I'm just glad Garcia did almost as well, and the White Sox came away with the win.

True, but I think the Cards will make a smarter move and keep their promising ace. Ponson gets sent back to the 'pen and Mulder comes back from the DL.

Yeah, but are you going to send Jeff Weaver who is making a boat load of money to the minors, or demote him?? Probably not. The Cardinals can send Ponson to the pen who is making an incentive laden $1M depending on how many starts he makes.

yea...they should keep him in the rotation...as for the Angels, they seem to think they'll be able to trade Jeff Weaver ...shouldn't have signed him in the first place
