    Cards chances

Are they still as great as they once were? The Cards are only a half game out of first place and we are nearly one month into the season. Is this the time that the team takes its lead and seperates itself from the competition?

If so, they have to do it against the Nationals tonight. The Nationals are coming off a few losses from the Reds at home. Now they have traveled to St Louis and are ready to put their home stand behind them.

This is a very interesting matchup, but I feel like the Cards will make their usual push and will do it here very soon. Is tonight the start of their dominance? Or will they never take sole posession of 1st place?

Cards are still the team to beat in this division. I can't see the Reds keeping this up for very much monger. Remember their hot start last year? Cards have the pitching and the offense to get things done. Rolen has been sick but the Demon has been doing a good job filling in, but he is no Rolen. Edmonds hasn't started hitting yet and they still have the MVP who now has 13 homeruns. Thye still haven't figured out left field and second base yet. Luna has been hot and needs to stay at second IMO.
