Hell freezes over: Edmonds has 2 erros in one game

Eight-time Gold Glover Jim Edmonds had the first two-error game of his career on Thursday.

Wow. Seems like both were rather costly too.

Didn't Andruw Jones make a couple errors in just the first week of baseball?

Adam Kennedy and Kent Bottenfield were well worth Jim Edmonds. Well, Adam Kennedy was.

Why couldn't he have waited until tonight when the Cards play the Reds? He always seems to jam it up our rear ends with great HR robbing catches.

Well, Edmonds had immediate catarac surgery after the game which is usually a sign of old age
"They asked me if I wanted the ball in Game 6, and I said yes. I'll always say yes. That's what I did with Jack McKeon. I told him, 'Let me see how I feel tomorrow.' I went out, did a long toss, came in and said, 'I'll pitch, I want it, I want to do it.' And it ended up working out." -Josh Beckett

Yeah he is one year older than when he made just two errors last year. Goddamn he's 35 and still one of the best CFers in the game.

He made two more errors last night. What is wrong with him all of a sudden? He isn't hitting all that well either and he has had an awesome career in April.
