Thread: 86 reasons to hate the Saux / thank you /10000th post!

  1. #16
I'm sure a lot of Sox did, it only makes sense that a team with a lot of money hungry stars would.

And I agree, ideally, players wouldn't charge and the people would just keep their autographs, but the business makes it impossible.

Although, if a player is at a ballpark and he charges, he deserves to rot.

For thinking its "so stupid" you sure give it a lot of credibility by responding to each point individually.

I meant "mock" not "quote," don't know why I wrote quote. Oh well.

Since when does responding equate to credibility? For instance, joek. He got 100 post topics a lot, doesn't mean he had a shred of credibility.

I think what hmark means is that by responding to it you're acknowledging it in a way...whereas if you just ignore it or whatever, you're not acknowledging it as something...sort of like when you were in grade school, if someone teased you...your parents may have said something like "if you ignore them, they'll see it doesn't bother you and they'll stop" kinda thing...

Yeah, except that advice never really worked from my parents. I don't buy that acknoledgement equates to credibility either.

It is just an article of jealousy. If the Red Sox had won all those years and this was the Mariners who won the last WS i'm sure he would think this is all quite fine.

I would support a salary cap for baseball to make it more fair, but with the huge amounts players demand it is unlikely to happen.
