I mentioned Pedro to RLA mainly because he was the reason why I predicted the Mets to win this game today as I cited in this thread few days ago not to mention that he is probably the bright spot on this team.

A reason I think the RedSox will have a hard time challenging the Yankees without Pedro. It won't be a cake walk but that was a huge blow for the Sox while a great pickup for the Mets. I would say it is maybe second to beltran but possibly a tie. You can't put a price on great pitching.

RLA: I had a good feeling with Pedro on the mound today that the Mets would have won. Pedro has been fantastic in his first two starts. He is like Johan is to the Twins. Good things happen to the Mets when he is on the mound every five days. Mets expect to win when he is on the mound. He certainly has shined and he has been a great leader in the clubhouse.
