Ichiro hit a damn good cutter on the hands. Mo just said "NO WAY".

How do you give up a grand slam to Jason Kubel of all people?

Kubel is slumping, he had a good year last year, what's surprising about it?

Even the best pitchers give up home runs. Kubel hit 28 homers and drove in 103 runs last season. He isn't a "banjo" hitter.
Mo threw a decent pitch and Kubel hit it.

I would laugh but Mo has failed just once or twice a season? And he gets the job done with literally just one pitch. Mo is money.

Doesn't mean we can't enjoy it the few times it happens.

    Re: Laughing at Mariano's failures

Mariano gives up the tying RBI to Ian Kinsler, then with the bases loaded, hits Jeff Francoeur's shoulder with a pitch to lose the game. Talk about hitting The Human Windmill on the blade.

One of the easiest players for him to strikeout, he beans. It's almost K Rod level failure.

I certainly enjoyed his failure last night against Texas. I really hope the Rays catch the Yankees and make them the wild card.

    Re: Laughing at Mariano's failures

Given a two-run cushion, leads to blown save #1. Giving up hits to guys like John McDonald and Jose Molina. Just embarrassing.
