You have to be ****ing shitting me. Whatever happened to being professionals and not letting the noise and distractions get to your head? God forbid "the greatest baseball fans in the world" raise noise and wave towels in a Cardinals home game.

I should have mentioned this earlier, but I wasn't following the game on TBS: The crowd was mostly quiet when Loney was down to his final strike. That's not exactly a moment for a significant portion of fans to naturally shake their rally towels, even accounting for dumbass LA fans.

Yesterday I would've given Holliday the benefit of the doubt, like yeah, maybe it was a factor. Now I realize Wainwright is just talking out of his ass.
