I never said that they would and they are not expected to...although if they put together one of their patented 2nd half runs anything is possible as Texas does not have deep enough pitching and the Angels are not that great either...either way, whoever makes it from the West will probably be bounced in the 1st round anyway

Are you that freakin stupid or just stubborn? For the last time, this thread was about and aimed at the San Francisco Giants and one of their chump players. READ THE THREAD TITLE. I think I know what the problem is. Mariners fans have no true rivals; hell, nobody in the AL West even considers the Mariners a rival. So, you guys wouldn't have any clue what it's like when the A's and Giants get together.

Dude, I couldn't care less about third or fourth place. A's fans are happy about beating and sweeping the Giants, especially if you could hear and see all the crap we take from their fans. The media bias against the A's alone makes it all the sweeter. Radnich was choking on the big one this morning.

I still have no clue why A's fans hate the Giants. They are in different leagues and from my understanding, both teams have a respect for each other. It's as silly as Mets fans hating the Yankees or White Sox fans hating the Cubs.

A's fans hate Gnats fans because they are obnoxious, annoying and arrogant. Funny because it's not like their team has ever done anything to be proud about. 50+ years without a championship. Thanks for the explaination, ABG. I never sense that with Giants fans online when I speak to them whether it's here or any other baseball boards hence why I asked that question. I always assumed most Giants fans are like Merkin in which they are very classy. I guess I should see it for myself if I ever go to the Bay Area.
