That's y i really do my best to be honest and analyitical whenever i talk about sports, no matter who i'm a fan of. cause i know other people just get pissed off if i brag for no reason
As a Jets fan, I hate the Pats with a passion as well. I don't think I met another Patriots fan other than my older brother before Tom Brady happened. Now there are Pats fans all over the place.

I still cringe when I think of the 2006 browns game
Re: And the last winless team in the Majors is...
Guys just realize that a third of the Tigers lineup is on the DL.
They will turn it around.

:D
Bro, I went to UM (Michigan) and Brady wasn't even the most popular Qb at UM when he was there. (Drew Henson was)
Now all of a sudden, you hear all these people saying that they "knew he was going to be great".
Yea, they also 'knew' the lottery numbers every week but wanted to give someone else a chance.
Everybody loves a winner...but you see 'real' character in the people who stick by their team when the chips are down.
In other words, you can never question the character of a Devil Rays fan.

Didn't old Andy get crushed? I'm not sure but I'm thinking Willis wasn't good yet Andy was pathetic.
And how does having Andrew Miller sound good since the bullpen can't get anybody out. He was a starter last year. How does a guy who has a 10+ era sound better than a guy who has a 5+ era? Please make sense of this for me...or you just spouting off a line of crap.
Sure, it's fun to talk crap...but at least make sense when you talk it because if you don't, you just make yourself look bad.
I'm sorry, I didn't know you liked 26 year old has beens over 22 year olds who are rated among the 5 best prospects in baseball. Willis walked SEVEN yesterday against a team that has one player that consistently takes pitches (Thome). There's a reason no one (the White Sox, who are almost void of proven starters, included) wanted to take Willis, and it's not because he still has it.

Who would that be? The only regular in their lineup listed on the DL is Granderson.

What are you talking about?? The only 2 guys on the DL for the whole team is Granderson and Fernando Rodney. I don't think that really constitutes a third of their lineup. If their CF'er counts as a 3rd of their lineup, then they are in for a world of trouble.
Re: And the last winless team in the Majors is...
So it was one, a very important one in Granderson.
Officially they have 5 players (Granderson, Zumaya, Rodney, Wilson, Tata) on the DL.
But its 5 games people, there is 157 more to go.
Re: And the last winless team in the Majors is...
If people are jumping on the bandwagon that the Royals are much improved team based on five games, it's only fair that to say that the Tigers are overrated based on their 0-5 Won-Loss record.

If the Royals win 2 games, they are an improved team.
I think we can all say that they would generally lose 95-100 games until now.

I didn't know hitting 25+ HRs, hitting .300+ BA, and 110 rbi for the past 4 seasons, means someone is overated, that means Arod, Jeter, Wright, Reyes, Beltran are all overated aswell.

who said anyone is overrated?
Re: And the last winless team in the Majors is...
You said Cabrera is overrated you ****ing moron
Re: And the last winless team in the Majors is...
The Detroit Tigers are on pace to lose 162 games this season.
Their offense will heat up, especially once Granderson is back.
The real worries for Tiger fans are the bullpen and the starting rotation. Outside of Verlander, they dont have a starting pitcher that worries me much...and their bullpen is horrible. Yeah, I know "once Zumaya is back it'll be different" (what I hear out of ever Detroit fan I see)...but he's been out for what, almost an entire season with that injury? He may not be all that effective at first.

o yeah.....
well i didn't really say HE was overrated, i said his trade to the team and his production predictions are overrated. but i guess that's essentially the same thing. and so far he's proving it.
.143 batting avg
1 RBI
2 Runs
I know, it's early. I know, he's obviously not gonna finish even close to those numbers. But it's a fact, these games early on mean just as much as the ones in september. And he's not helping his team win any of them.
