Put the Padres in the American League

I am so sick of the national league an all these weak weak weak opponents that the padres play. If the Padres were in the american league they would be at least 10 games out of first place. Don't get fooled by this team, they are horrible. This team will never compete foe a championship, ever. The division is weak so they are able to look decent right now. Come on your leading home run guy has 13. That's pathetic. How come Chris young was just average in texas and here he looks like cy young. Please spare me, this season the national league is the worst league of any sport ever.

    - 4 of 5 teams >.500

    - Padres only 1/2 game behind NL Central leading St Louis

    - WC would come out of the NL West going into today

    - Rockies only 1/2 game behind LA in those WC standings.

The NL West sucked last year

    wake up, it's 2006

Why all the Chris Young whining?

First thing, last year it was Chris' true rookie year, so you know there are going to be some struggles as he moves into the big leagues. Secondly, Arlington is very hitter friendly, so the ERA is going to go up. Dont believe me, look at Milwood's, Chan Ho Park's, and Padilla's numbers just to name a few. All of them have ERAs above 4.50 while playing there. Young's was right around 4.00. Pretty amazing if you ask me.

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.

Chris Young shut down the A's and Rangers, they don't want him to pitch in the AL.

    Sometimes oldies are goodies.

I don't get the Chris Young hating either. The guy, in his rookie year, won 12 games with an ERA of 4.26. That is pretty good for a rookie, and awesome for a rookie in Arlington. I would love to swap Eaton back to the Padres for Young. Even when the trade was made I thought it was horrible deal for the Rangers. Although it turns out they needed Otsuka more than I ever thought they would.

And btw, the horrible Padres are 6 games over .500 and they are winning tonight which would give them a 4 game win streak.
