Bubba Crosby, our 3rd string outfielder, made our outfield even worse with the insertion of minor league players in 2 outfield spots until Bernie decided to hit. And, Tanyon Sturze? You laugh. Go take a look at his stats from last year. They demolish most releivers from your team. And he got injured, at least according to him, in SPRING TRAINING. That's a bigger loss that Jay ****ing Witasick, who was washed up back when he was on the Yankees. And, FYI, I never asked for sympathy, just pointed out the fact we've been through more then you, and played much better competition, with essentially a worse team right now, albeit overpaid, and that we're still ahead of you.

You need to look at the numbers...Witasick's numbers were a lot better than Sturtze's...
2.84 ERA : 4.73 ERA
73 k's in 63.33 innings : 45 k's in 78 innings
4 homers : 10 homers
1.295 WHIP : 1.321 WHIP

The only category besides record (1 - 5 : 5 - 3) that Sturtze got the edge was 27 walks to 29 walks (less walks in more innings), but he gave up 76 hits while Witasick only gave up 53.

Yeah I have to agree about Schilling. I define a horrible player as a pitcher with over 200 wins in his career with a career 3.40 ERA and almost 3,000 strikeouts. Yeah he's horrible.

Horrible sportsman? Here's a guy that doesn't care about the money or fame of the game. He is simply out to win. Yeah, horrible sportsman indeed.

So, I have to agree with you, the "Red Socks" obviously suck. They have only been one of the MLB's best teams this past decade.

Get some knowledge of the game and rid yourself of that filthy bias.
