Jose Lopez hit a homer today. Foppert pitched two shutout innings, 2 K's I believe. Woohoo. We're getting slaughtered though.

    Ichiro! Suzuki unhappy?

    http://chicagosports.chicagotribune....ck=1&cset=true

"It has been a long time since I've played in a game that excites me," Suzuki said this winter. "It is a sad situation that I have had to create my own motivation for such a long time."
In an interview with Tokyo's Shimbun newspaper, Suzuki admitted he was "worried" about the team's future. It's not just the bad records that bothered him. It's the effort.
"I had always felt that the value of a player really depends on his spirit in the last game of the season, just as the player would approach the first game of the season," Ichiro said. "On that last day I couldn't find anybody warming up on the field, and nobody said anything about it. We lost that game without spirit. What's worse, 35,000 fans came to see it, spending their money."
    and

Suzuki also was bothered when manager Mike Hargrove gave him a take sign in an August game against Minnesota. It was the first time in his career he hadn't had a green light to make his own decisions.
What do Mariner fans think about this? You can't win all the time so it seems to me that it's Ichiro's! problem since he's "always won" throughout his career...I understand players want to win, but I'm sick of players demanding trades and such because they aren't winning. Only 1 team can win the World Series each year so obviously someone has to lose.

I'm not concerned. I highly doubt that there is any chance that Ichiro goes to another team, if anything he might go back to Japan, but I doubt that too. I think Ichiro likes Seattle, he just doesn't like losing, we've spent a bunch of money and hopefully the young guys are going to start coming through. Or at least be better than last year, but that won't be too hard.

I doubt Ichiro's much of a concern. Not like he has a choice on where to go until he's a free agent and he could be one of the least likely players to be traded in the majors. The Mariners have other things to be concerned about, like some of their relievers (back spasms for Putz, some non-roster types getting bombed, Foppert looked good tough).

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.
