    BA on our SS's

How you see all of the Mariners shortstops sorting themselves out? Mike Morse is doing surprisingly well in Seattle, Yuniesky Betancourt is holding his own at Triple-A Tacoma, Adam Jones is hitting well at Double-A San Antonio, Asdrubal Cabrera is doing well at high Class A Inland Empire and Matt Tuisaosopo is having a decent year at low Class A Wisconsin. Jones, Cabrera and Tuiasosopo are all teenagers. Can Betancourt hit enough to play regularly in the majors, and do the others field well enough?

Interesting. I think he under-estimates Cabrera's potential as a hitter. Personally, I'd go:

    1. Adam Jones
    2. Asdrubal Cabrera
    3. Matt Tuiasosopo (although all signs point to him going to RF)
    4. Yuniesky Betancourt
    5. Mike Morse
    6. Oswaldo Navarro

I like Betancourt, and he could win numerous gold gloves at short, but I don't see how a guy who projects to hit .280/.320/.420 guy can hold down the position with guys like Jones and Cabrera in the system. I guess it is a good problem to have though, just in case Jones and Cabrera don't develop as hoped we know what we'll be getting in Betancourt.

It's still difficult sorting out the Mariners shortstop prospects, but I'll take another crack at it: Jones, Betancourt, Tuiasosopo, Cabrera, Morse (I think he's playing over his head in Seattle right now), Navarro.
I think Morse is being underrated as well. Cabrera is a damn good hitter as is Jones. Tui is will be an OF. I like Betncourt out those 6, for i think they will still move Morse most likely. One of these 6 SS will be in a deal. I dont see them all being an M.
