    Mariners Oliver Perez sighting

Mariners signed LHP Oliver Perez to a minor league contract.
The deal includes an invitation to major league spring training. Perez showed some signs of life last year at Double-A Harrisburg, posting a 3.09 ERA and 58/27 K/BB ratio in 75 2/3 innings, but he's highly unlikely to land a spot on the Mariners' Opening Day roster.
Comeback Player of the Year! Book it!!

It is about time for Perez to have a stellar year, followed by two or three miserable ones, per the cycle.

Look on the bright side, he hasn't been on the map for so long that he's a complete reboot now...and after he posts a 3.50 era, trade him back to the Mets.
