    2011 Regular Season Mariners Ramblings

The M's are 2-0 and finding the little ways to score runs. Felix and Vargas had quality starts but that bullpen is going to give me heartburn.

The Mariners lose 7-1, the 1st game I miss on TV they lose. And there goes their only share of the lead they will experience all season.

Josh Leuke got tagged for 4 runs in a 6-4 loss to the Rangers. The M's will maybe score 4 runs a game at best which would be an improvement. Fister was okay but the Rangers offense is insanely good so far, especially Nelson Cruz.

    Ogando vs Pineda

Great pitchers duel as Ogando gets his 1st win as a starter over the Big Donkey. Pineda went 6 IP (85 pitches) for 3 ER, 4 Ks and 1 BB. Very strong in the early innings. Adam Kennedy gets his 1st start and gets 2 hits. This team is scrappy like the 2009 team, but let's face it here. This team will win 75 games at best.

The Mariners are 0-4 when I don't watch them on TV. Jack Wilson's show of defense at 2B cost the M's a win.

From the time I got off work to the time I got home (roughly 25 minutes) The M's went from 1-0 to 12-0...WTF.

Are the Indians that fucking good or the M's offense just worse than last year. I think seven guys from B/S, Ichiro and Ackley would be better than them.

Re: 2011 Regular Season Mariners Ramblings

5-12 record after watching Josh Leuke allow 4 more runs...

...As for the fucking Felix Hernandez trades. He just fucking turned 25 years old and why the fuck would they make a trade for guys most likely to be no more than 3 years younger and only near ML ready at best? Someone explain that to me, they build by 2014 and King Felix is only just turning 28 years old. Still in his motherfucking prime.

Re: 2011 Regular Season Mariners Ramblings

No chance King Felix gets traded and I really don't know where all the trade talk is coming from. The M's are heading in the right direction after some piss poor moves like Bradley and Figgins. They got quite a bit of money coming off the books this offseason and Pineda and Ackley will be fixtures in next year's roster. They will have the money to get a FA and a big bat to help keep them in the right direction. Plus they will get a high draft pick this year and next year. No chance Felix is traded.

Dude just turned 25 last week. Bradley > Silva to this day. Figgins, has been a Richie Sexson like bust.

While I'm at it, Silva supporters of the Chicago trade. How's that working out for you? At least Bradley is being decent this year (.837 OPS, 2nd on the M's) so far.
