Jack Cust was DFA'd today after having only 19 extra base hits all year.

Poor Jack, never has lived up to his potential.

I feel like crap, but am going to try to stay up for this game.

Now they have the reverse of Jack Cust in Pena. Bog power, not much contact but instead of walking a lot and striking out a lot...Pena will just strike out...a lot. That's exciting.

Charlie Furbush got the win in his M's debut That has to be one of the worst last names I have seen in a while sporting a MLB uniform.

M's will keep the debut theme going as they called up newly acquired Trayvon Robinson.

The Mariners signed 17-year-old Dominican shortstop Angel Yente for $225K, reports Justin Olsen of The Outfield Grass. The Dominican Prospect League has since confirmed the move. According to the DPL, Yente has "an extra-large frame with an athletic, strong body," and his bat will play at a corner position if he grows out of shortstop.
