The next ArodThe Mariners signed 17-year-old Dominican shortstop Angel Yente for $225K, reports Justin Olsen of The Outfield Grass. The Dominican Prospect League has since confirmed the move. According to the DPL, Yente has "an extra-large frame with an athletic, strong body," and his bat will play at a corner position if he grows out of shortstop.
