Bret Boone is designated for assignment

Just heard this on the Twins radio network. No suprise there. It was time for both parties to part ways. Bret was just not performing while Lopez was. Mariners were not winning with Bret playing at second. It was simply time.

I wonder if the Twins will claim him. There was rumors that the Twins were interested in Boone. I am not sure how he could help them though.

Ouch, I feel bad for Boonie. Hopefully, he'll catch on somewhere else. I have a feeling he winds up in NY.

It's sad how he has deteroriated since that magical 2001 season. He was solid in 2002, but after that, his numbers went down big time.

    Hallelujah!

Maybe we can actually win a game now. Oh wait, Olivo is still on the team. Damn him.

Snelling is up too. Don't understand that, unless he is playing everyday he needs to be in AAA.

Who would of ever thought this would of happened a few seasons ago? With his tarnished legacy and at the obvious twilight of his career, he should just hang them up but that won't happen yet.

Hes still servicable defensively. but offensively hes a 7 or 8 hitter now. He needs to work on that swing. and forget bat flips for a while.

This needed to happen, I just hoped we could get some spects for him.

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.
