Terrible signing for the M's. They are improving and had a chance to grab a true DH. He should have retired after hitting 19 HRs but now we get to see him deteriorate and hit 11 next season.

Griffey is hoping for the swan song that his body is just unable to produce. That or he wants to pad his homerun total as much as possible, and really I don't blame him because I'd do the same thing if I was him (and wear my baseball cap backwards.)

Im sorry but this better come with someone else being signed. Hes not an everyday player anymore. What are you going to do with Branyan, who actually wants to stay more than one year? Its frustrating its 50-50 overall in Seattle. I liked it last year but if we want to improve on that, We have to a DH that hits over .220, sorry Jr.

Griffey is at 630 homeruns, he has to be hoping to regain his stroke (against the odds of course) and get to the 650 plateau.

I am cool with it because I still need to get a Griffey Jersey...

Nah, but really, I have to agree with the sentiment. I am just ready for the guy to walk into the HOF.
