    Mariners M's GM meets with the Advisor of Ackley.

    "Our meeting was very cordial," Zduriencik said on Sunday, "but it wasn't anything in depth. It was very professional and we talked about several things, including Ackley. But this was neither the setting nor the timing [for contract discussions].
    It's nice to see them start talks now rather than later.
