OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- The Seattle Mariners recalled catcher Miguel Olivo from Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday and optioned catcher Rene Rivera to Double-A San Antonio.

I really ****ing hate what the hell they are doing right now. They were winning with the young people and then everyone comes back and they promply go back to the hapless M's. Its like listening to All Eyez on Me from 2Pac then go listen to crap like Ja Rule. Bavasi has to realize that Morse, Reed, Rivera and Lopez can help the club now. What the f*ck is No Stick Jr going to do, swing and miss. Allow another passed ball.

That is fine that they felt that Rivera needed more seasoning, but why Olivo? Wiki, godammit. Wiki. And why is he going back to AA? If you can hit .364 in your callup, then chances are you are ready for AAA.
