Would you be happy with this team?

    For next year, of course.

    1. I. Suzuki RF
    2. J. Reed CF
    3. A. Beltre 3B
    4. R. Sexson 1B
    5. R. Ibanez LF/DH
    6. C. Snelling LF/DH
    7. J. Lopez 2B
    8. M. Morse SS
    9. R. Rivera/W. Gonzalez C

    Bench: Bucky, Dobbs, Strong?

    1. RHP A. Burnett
    2. RHP F. Hernandez
    3. LHP B. Madritsch
    4. RHP G. Meche
    5. RHP J. Pineiro

    1. RHP J. Putz MR
    2. LHP G. Sherrill MR
    3. RHP J. Campillo MR
    4. RHP J. Mateo MR
    5. RHP C. Nageotte MR
    6. RHP R. Soriano Set Up
    7. LHP E. Guardado Closer

We have to bring in a starter. Burnett is going to be the best available, since I doubt the Marlins are able to bring him back with some fat contracts they are going to have to dish out in the near future to Willis, Beckett, and Cabrera. I don't feel comfortable with Pineiro, but unless Blackley is going to be ready he is our best option. We'd probably need another lefty out of the pen though. And another middle infielder off the bench to replace Strong.

That would probably be one of the best teams we could have next year, so yeah, I would be happy with that.

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.

It is extremely possible, the only addition we would need is Burnett, everyone else comes from within the system. If everyone on that team played up to or near their potential we could take the west. Plus, look at how young it would be.

Ken Rosenthal said Burnett is on the block. We could try and make a deal at the dead line for him. I say we keep Sele for next season as insurance cause you never know which Pineiro shows up.

2nd issue i have is Randy Winn, hes havin the season like he had in Tampa Bay before coming over here. Why let this guy go, i think hes a better option then Ibanez and Snelling is a better DH potentially when Ibanez.

I would think this in the lineup

    1. RF Ichiro
    2. CF Reed
    3. 3B Beltre
    4. 1B Sexson
    5. DH Bucky/Snelling
    6. LF Snelling/Winn
    7. 2B Lopez
    8. SS Morse
    9. CA Rivera/Wiki

I've always wondered: why not put Ichiro in CF?

Why not leave him in RF?

But he has a better arm and better range than Reed.

His arm is better suited for RF. He holds runners at 2nd, sort of like Vlad, since 3rd base coaches know not to test his arm.

Is that W. Gonzlalez Wiki? I think I had him in a Sim League.

Not a bad team. Having Beltre, Sexson and Ichiro is always a good way to start a lineup.
