ravis Chick's first career nine-inning complete game resulted in his first Triple-A victory.

The 24-year-old right-hander hurled a two-hitter and struck out nine as the Tacoma Rainiers beat the Las Vegas 51s, 3-1, at Cheney Stadium on Thursday.

"It was my first (Triple-A) win and the first nine-inning complete game of my career," Chick said. "What a way to get it."

Chick (1-0), who was promoted from Double-A West Tenn last week, gave up three runs on five hits and four walks with six strikeouts in his Triple-A debut Saturday, but did not receive a decision in the Rainiers' 7-4 loss to the Tucson Sidewinders.
Travis Chick pitched a brilliant 2-hitter in tonights game. Maybe he will get a look in September.
