    Mariners Reflecting on the Trade

As we are coming in to June, I wanted to reflect back on your thoughts of the Bedard trade. I know a few people thought too much was given up to obtain Bedard. Looking back, would you have done the trade with just:

    George Sherrill - 3.57era 17sv 19svop 19ks in 22.2ip
    Adam "don't call me Pacman" Jones - .253avg .302obp .365slg 4sb in 52 gms

    for

    Erik Bedard - 4.08era 4w 3L 42h 48k in 53IP

do you think the upside of Jones was overvalued (by Mariners fans) at the time of the trade or was it the remaining pitchers that were involved (Chris Tillman, Kam Mickolio, Tony Butler)

    Re: Reflecting on the Trade

Adam Jones will be a solid MLer. Tillman is a stud pitcher and really to this day I don't like the fact we traded the farm for Bedard because of his proness to the DL.
