    Wanted: a veteran backup for Borders

    Borders is the new starting catcher; Olivo optioned to Tacoma

    ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. – The search for another catcher – their sixth of a season 49 games old – began in earnest Sunday, after the Seattle Mariners all but decided Miguel Olivo needs to go to the minor leagues to reconstruct his game.
    Rene Rivera is called up for the time being. But this is ****ing pathetic we need a better catcher than Pat Borders who was last good in what...1993?
