    Once Again....

Our f'n Offense sucks we have 5 guys hitting over .280 in Tacoma right now. 4 guys on our ML roster cant hit to save our lives. Changes have to be made now. We get the D (Minus)-Rays soon but we need to get better on offense and quick. The shouldnt have been NO reason that we could have stolen 1 from the O's, we give game 2 away due to crappy bunting and and bad baserunning.

I was reading an article either in the Seattle Times or the PI. There was a scout who said the Mariners have no one in the minors that are ready for the major leagues now and probably forever. If that is the case, then Bavasi and his staff really needs to rebuild this team from scratch. You like to have a strong minor league system so that the fans can get excited. It hasn't really worked.

All the guys that are close to ready is in the OF right now. That doesnt help things. They also are injury prone before they get up to seattle it seems.

Anything I have ever read in the Seattle Times or PI regarding M's prospects has pretty much been crap. They really had no idea what they were talking about. Snelling can already hit ML pitching, Strong could hit for a better average than Valdez, Olivo, Dobbs, Borders, etc., Choo is getting closer every day to being ready (even though he probably won't be in Seattle again until '06 barring injuries), and Lopez will be the M's starting SS by July. There is plenty of hitting at Tacoma and the rest of the system. I have even mentioned Tui, Jones, or Balentien.
