My old friend Jamie Moyer, one who got away, has had tremendous success historically against the Orioles. Hopefully that trend does not continue. I won't make any weather predictions today as I looked the fool yesterday. Here are some of the numbers of Oriole batters versus Moyer

Larry Bigbie 7/12 with a HR and 2 RBI
    Jay Gibbons 1/11
    Geronimo Gil 0/5
    Chris Gomez 3/23
Melvin Mora 5/21 with a HR and 2 RBI
    David Newhan 2/3
    Rafael Palmeiro 20/79 4HR 14 RBI .253
    Brian Roberts 5/22
    Sammy Sosa 1/8
    BJ Surhoff 22/60 3HR 9RBI .367
    Miguel Tejada 19/67 2HR 5 RBI .284

Rodrigo Lopez is looking to rebound from a string of unimpressive starts tonight.

I have not heard any word on the availability of Brian Roberts, I know mighty mouse is tough but it would be best to sit him in lue of his knee contusion. Chris Gomez will likely get the nod at 2b tonight.

Let's hope for a good game tonight and no more injuries!

I have no confidence in any of our pitchers not named Meche. Moyer has just been terrible lately. We're going to need a lot of offense tonight (ie: more than Ich + Sexson) in order to win this game. One reason for hope tonight: Mateo hasn't pitched since Saturday, so he can go 3 or so innings tonight if necessary (and it probably will be).

2nd and 3rd. One out. Moyer already in trouble. Nothing new here.

Raffy homers. It is now 3-0.

Moyer can't be in the rotation anymore. He sucks too bad now. Tis a sad day.

Boone flies out. This is going to be another one of those long games for us M's fans.

Outside of Ibanez's single, we've done nothing.

Moyer has settled down since the first inning, but I don't know if we'll have the offense to overcome a 3 run defecit. How sad is that?

How has Beltre been so consistently bad? It isn't even Safeco, he only hits .244 on the road.

Raul is our only offense tonight. He is 2-2 now after his double. The rest of the team is 0-13.
