Should the M's make a trade...

To make a run at the Angels for the division. It would be difficult to do because of the limited trade pieces we have. But lets face it. We need to start winning pretty soon. The common mood of the people of here is pure frustration, to put it lightly.

Maybe its time to deal Sexson or Beltre.....

Good luck finding a taker. We'll give you Pavano for one of them actually.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Pavano is about as useless as a no legged man in an arse kicking contest. Wait....When was the last time he was OUT of surgery?

    How about trading Ichiro?

That would be one of the toughest things for this franchise to do. If we do who would we go after, Can Jeremy Reed or Adam Jones handle CF at the show? There are too many ifs to deal him, but I wouldnt rule it out.

Why trade your best player to try and stay in a race? It makes no sense. Broussard has some value, Sexson makes too much for such little production and so is Beltre. Guillen is a guy who doesn't make a lot of money and will be attractive to a lot of teams if he keeps up solid production. And take Jeff Weaver out back and shoot him.

The way it goes with the trade value is. The three with the most is Felix, Ichiro and Putz.... Why in the **** would we ever deal Felix right now., Putz is the best closer since Sasaki, hell he might end up the being the best M's closer ever. Ichiro while he brings in mass amounts of endorsements, he would be the most valuable piece for us, that we can afford to deal thats a Vet.

Ibanez would be an attractive player too since he doesn't make all that much and does produce.

Ibanez hitting style fits Safeco so well, it would be a tough guy to deal. We need a couple more bats like his.

We really need to find that starting pitcher or a way to get rid of Weaver. I don't think we can stay in this spot forever with what we have right now. Fierabend or Campillo won't be that much better of an option. But something has to be done if we want to be a contender. The offense has clicked on all gears at the moment (who knew).
