I nominated Hensen, but had to go with Sele, because he is probably going to put us in a hole tonight.

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.

Since I voted for Hansen and there's a 4-way tie, can we send all 4 to Tacoma?

    Game is underway.

Derek Jeter leads off with a single to center.

Cano grounds to Bloomquist, who gets Jeter out at 2nd.

    Cano on first.

Yankees fans are so fugging smug. This guy I know from the FDU Campus was bragging about his team to me all day today. I told him the Yankees beat the bad teams and that they are not good. Then he got on me. Just goes to show you the mentality of NY sports fans. They get angry if you even rip them. I just told like it is. This guy shouldn't have ask me for my opinion.

I don't think there should be an award for any team beating up a bad team during a course of the regular season unless if you are an NFL team where every game means so much for the division, home-field, and the wild-card race.

Yankees may be good enough to go to the WS, but not good enough to win it all. I just don't like their bullpen.

Ugh. Sele walks Sheff on 4 straight pitches.

Runners on first and second, one out.

This 8 game winning streak is not impressive to me at all, they've played ok, but they've only beaten the A's and Mariner's, who are playing some of the worst baseball in the majors right now.

I thought Grover was not going to use Sele in that series.

WTF! Sele has always stunk against NY in his career.

MF: I know. I am just glad the AL East is finally competitive though. This year, Yankees gotta earn it which is a great thing. The funniest part came when this guy was telling me how Kevin Brown and Mike Mussina are great pitchers and winners. I almost literally wanted to choke him. I like this guy because he stops by at my workplace, but geez. I actually yelled at him when he told me that statement.

    A-Rod grounds into a fielder's choice to 3rd. Sele escapes a jam.

Top of the order coming up for the M's.

Most fans wear the blinders at times (you and me included ), but it seems as if some Yankee fans are excessive with it, it is probably because they've been spoiled by success.
