And Putz gives up the Grand Slam. All because Sexson couldn't handle the Double Play ball.

    Game Over. 5-2.

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.

You knew this was going to happen. I knew it would happen in the fourth inning. God I hate the Yankees. What is it with NY teams that find a way to win every game from behind?

Sele pitched well though. I liked how he gutted it out and got out of jams.

Too bad J.J. had to pitch like a Putz. UGH!

I saw the whole game on TV today, my damn bro was on the comp all damn night again. Sexson had that ball go right out his glove. But Sele dodged bullets all night, 2 runners stranded an inning it seemed. Putz, hes just had some hard luck lately. Reed almost got that ball back.

Porter: At least, you got to watch FSN Northwest while I watched it on Al-Yankeezera err YES. God Yankees announcers for YES are so hideous that it's not funny. Michael Kay is really an asshole. He always bashes every team in the majors. This is the same loser who said the Twins should be contracted. I had to put the mute button in the fourth inning. Sadly, it's the mentality of the NY sports announcers. Yankees announcers are not the only one that are like that. I hear it with the Giants, Jets, Knicks, Rangers and the Mets announcers. Wait till the Nets move to NYC and Nets announcers will get bad. UGH! Nets are already trying to hire a spinmeiser next year in Marv Albert.

Sexson should have caught that ball.

I thought Reed had it there.

I had to listen to Rick Rizzs again tonite after the 5th. ugh. Reed came so close to that, he was going to sacrifice his body to bring that back. Kinda like what Griffey did in his prime, cept he caught the damn ball

    I voted for Thornton.

Reed made a great leap and then just fell down. That stinks. It looked like he had it, but then he lost it as he lost balance. I know Torii Hunter makes that play easily. He would do it with his eyes close. Just goes to show you how special Torii as a fielder.

Reed will get better during time. Having saw Griffey and Cameron in Seattle. I have a good idea of how Torii is good in the field.

There will never be a player like Torii. This guy sacrifice his body just to make these plays. He used to be a football player in high school so that helped him be the fielder he is today. I have lot of respect for players that use their body to make plays. I recall last year when Torii did everything he could to rob Sheffield of a HR, but he missed it and then he had to leave the game for banging on the wall as he made that play.

Torii didnt shatter his wrist to make a catch like Griffey did in the kingdome. Griffey was the better defensive CF IMO. not by much though.
