Game Thread- Boston Red Sox (21-13) vs Seattle Mariners (13-21)

Boston Red Sox vs. Seattle Mariners

    Jeremi Gonzalez (1-0, 4.22) vs. Joel Pineiro (2-3, 5.66)

Can the damn M's win a game? Will the Red Sox tee off on Joel Pineiro tonite? Will Miguel Olivo get a hit in May (he hasnt yet)?

Im also starting the M's version of the Weakest, for the next 25 games, anyone on the 25 man roster can be banished to Tacoma. Thanks to the Reds Forum for a similar idea but since we equally frustrated with the team im sure they understand. Poll will go for 2 days, I encourage all fans from the forum to vote. The Champion, will be crowned 25 days from now. From that point on, You guys get to nominate 2 players from the 25 man roster to take the Champions throne. That part will be a weekly thing.

BY THE WAY, I VOTE off the crappiest hitting catcher in the majors, Miguel Olivo.

Porter: You get better and better at game threads.

I think you got May mod of the month. You have been fantastic.

I will join in the game thread tonight after the Rangers/Twins game.

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.

I voted Jeff Nelson, just because we know that Sherill can step in and do a 10x better job. Wiki had a nice game, but I'm not convinced that he is the answer at catcher, although Olivo sucks ass. But he is supposed to be a slow starter (although this is ridiculous) and at least he brings it on the defensive end.

I doubt I'll be here tonight because Porter is right, the M's drive you to drinking. Yeah, thats my excuse, it is the M's who make me do it.

Have fun at the game, Element.

    Thornton gets my vote.
