They just said that the M's pen has a 2.12 ERA this year, which is 2nd in the majors. What a huge suprise that has been this year.

Sheffield leaves off with a walk.

Thorton walks Posada. 3rd walk this inning. Too bad we have no one else really to use out of the pen.

Ichiro with an infield single to A-Rod. A-Rod almost made a really nice play to get Ichiro out though.

Damn, watching that replay, probably anyone in the majors outside of Ichiro and Carl Crawford is out.

Jeter gets a HR off Thorton to start the inning. Thorton is now officially getting shelled. If we had used our pen properly yesterday then we are winning this game 9-6, Mateo should be in here. Womack singles up the middle.

Sheffield crushes one to left center off Thorton. Thorton shouldn't of come in had we used our pen properly yesterday and then he was left in too long anyway. Shiggy is in now. This pisses me off, we should be ahead in this game still. Hargrove blew todays game yesterday.
