Moyer gets rocked in the first, gives up 5 of his own (but like Pavano a few of those could've been prevented by a DP that was screwed up). M's threaten again in the 2nd, after Winn singles and Beltre doubles, but Sexson and Ibanez are retired.

Jeter grounds out to 3rd to start the 2nd.

Womack singles, steals 2nd, steals 3rd. Sheffield singles in Womack. Boone looks real shaky on the last two ground balls, neither would've mattered because they would've been singles anyway, but botching ground balls is never a good sign. Throw in the missed DP and Boone just looks awful in the field today.

    6-5 Yanks.

Finally out of the 2nd inning, took forever, Yanks get one. Boone, Reed, Olivo are all due up, hopefully we can get that run back.

Nope, Boone, Reed, and Olivo go down in order, although Olivo tagged that last ball to right.

I've seen enough of Moyer today. Bernie doubles, Posada to third.

No Stick makes a decent play to get that little fly ball from Sanchez.

Womack flies out to Ichiro. Nice job by Thorton to get out of that jam. No Stick leading off, followed by the top of the order. Bavasi is going to be in the booth with the ESPN crew for the next inning.

HR by Ichiro, right after Bavasi started to talk about Ichiro's power.

Raul with a 3 run jack to deep right.

Womack misses a Boone shot to left, he ends up at 3rd base.

Womack is terrible at left, the Yanks need to get Bernie healthy so Matsui can return to left.

Our bullpen now has a lead to work with, we can see how good they really are now. It is just the 4th inning, there is a lot of time for the Yanks to make up some runs. Too bad we used our two (maybe three) best relievers yesterday.
