I'm still trying to figure out why Francona brought Meredith in there for such a situation. Timlin or Embree had to be available, and bringing a guy in with a guy in scoring position (in a tied game) against Winn/Beltre/Suzuki as a major league debut...wow.

Still, two out of three ain't bad for the Sox

Well i bet the way pitchers looked lately vs. the M's had a lot to do with it. Could have been the perfect debut for him.

Thank God the Mariners won tonight. I know this team has been playing hard, but they have had some rough luck. I hope the tide changes.
