    Mariners lose 5-3...

I only say this because when I think they will lose they win and vice versa.

I don't think the Twins are good enough to score 5 runs ... they've done that once in the last 13 games. Ruben Sierra is on the DL for them now too.

Sexson hasn't homered for 17 games now, too. Wonder why people keep predicting him to homer.

Law of averages. A guy with that much power has to homer at some point.

How about this motto for the Twins.

2006 Twins - We are sucking more than the Mariners!

Haha, outscored 33-1 vs. the Tigers!!! Gotta hurt. (Yeah, we got swept, but not that bad!)

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.

the whole squad sucks, outside of about 5 guys (total).

Keep these losses coming! I welcome each and every one. What's bad for the team this season will be good for them in the long run. Gardenweasel must go!

(along with most of his coaching staff)

Let's see if we can name the 5 guys ... Shannon Stewart, Johan Santana, Joe Nathan, Juan Rincon, Luis Castillo?

Nice win, Complete game for Joel and everyone hitting pretty well. Hopefully they saved some of the hits for tomorrow's game so we continue the winning streak. I think we will be around .500 or barely over by may 11th.

10 bucks says if Eddie G pitched in the 9th he would have given up 7 runs and we lose.

    Yes, I'm that pessimistic.

    Good win, though.

why would you say that, he's had two scoreless outings in a row, albeit with baserunners, but nevertheless, he's back on the right track. Eddie should have a decent season, IMO. Some bumps in the road, but I think eventually he'll be ok.
