It was a tough loss to Tampa Bay, but they are a bunch of fighters and I love the way they play, scrappy and reckless at times.

I think that Grand Slam probably cost us the game........................................

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.
I think the 11 runs they scored in that 12-7 loss costed us the game. Livingston needs more time in Tacoma right now.

Sexson hit a nice game winning homer in the 13th inning yesterday to outlast the Angels 5 - 4.
and with today's win the M's knocked the Angels back into the basement
Back to Back wins helps the M's and now they are i think 3.5 back now.

is amazing that were only 3.5 games back and actually still have a shot...
oh and if you take away some of the blown saves then look at us...
And with Beltre and Sexson struggling and Reed being hurt.

it's the same deal with the Angels and A's really...A's have Thomas, Harden, Bradley, Witasick, Duke, and Kennedy out right now to some degree. Chavez, Street, and Kendall missed some time as well. Yet the division is still close. I think it will sort itself out when team get healthy.
Are you guys ready for a rematch of Blanton vs. Felix? Blanton won going 8 shutout innings. Felix only gave up 1 run, but he only lasted 5 innings.
Im ready for the rematch. The AL West has been bruised pretty good so far.

King Felix pitched more like peasant last night. I know half of the 10 runs were unearned, but he still got hammered. Everybody has an off night once in a while though. Hopefully, he rebounds next time...not against the A's of course.
Hes having problems with his command at the moment, and he doesnt seem comfortable when hes on the mound.
