    The Bonds Homer Thread

#708 was a pitch from Eaton that was slightly off the plate and Bonds took opposite field for a three run shot. Unfortunately, the Giants lost the game shrinking their playoff chances to basically nothing. It was Bonds' fifth homerun of the year and the Giants are 4-1 when he homers.

    Time to shut it down

We are out of any playoff race and it is now time to shut it down for guys like Bonds, Alou, Durham, Schmidt and Vizquel. What Bonds has done is admirable, going out there and risking his career and pursuit of records for a chance to get his team in the postseason. It hurts when dumbasses like Skip Bayless say that he let his team down by not returning earlier. He wasn't clear by his ****ing doctors. I thought Lowry should have started yesterday as he has been our best pitcher this year. Schmidt for the third year in a row had a groin problem in September. Alou and Durham have leg problems and Vizquel just needs to rest for the remaining season. Great comeback for a very disappointing season.
