Schmidt pitched another gem holding the rockies to just two hits and giving up no earned runs while striking out 7. Schmidt also went 2-3 with a RBI. Ellison shined as he got the start in right and went 2-3 with a stolen base. Alfonzo and Feliz continue to hit the ball and Matheny continues to impress me with his bat. Mike is off to a good start hitting .294 so far this season. I didn't expect much from him offensively but he has had his timely hits. Hope he keeps it up.
