The left-handed pitcher did not pitch less than seven innings in any of his starts and did not allow a run to score in three of his appearances. Lowry struck out at least six batters in each of his starts and tied his season-high with eight strikeouts on August 6th vs. Houston. He held opposing batters to a .150 batting average against for the month.
